'"To make the people laugh, cry, or sit on the edge of their seats the world over!”
Carl Laemmle (1915)
Born in Baltimore,
to a United Methodist minister father and a public school librarian mother. Being socially and politically aware, was just a part of life. I believe my mission is to be a steward to the audiobook listener, especially those for whom affordability and accessibility are the dominant factors that limit them to learning or escaping within a story.
A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts,
I am an actor and audiobook narrator based in NYC's Hell Kitchen. I help publishers and producers who are struggling with massive turnarounds keep up with extremely dedicated listeners who have been waiting patiently for new book drops. I use my prep time to do in depth character and historical research and then I record.
One thing I love about what I do
is play the characters that I ‘ve always wanted to play, while also representing the voices of the African American Diaspora. I want to use my talents and my voice to help, entertain and inspire people; those who can't afford a book or get a library card, for those who can’t hold a book, see or read the words, struggle to read or turn the page.
